Second Meeting
The Jones Onslow Advisory Board met on January 20, 2005 for the second meeting. We were pleased to have Ruth Little, Chris Meadows, Barry Collins, Allen Bender, and Jean Bender join us. Elections were held and the following slate of officers were chosen to serve for a one year term.

We were pleased to have the new BBBS Recuiter on hand to tell us her goals for Jones, Onslow, Craven, and Carteret counties. We know Le'Taun will lead us to our goal of servicing 500 children in 2005. Liz Brown and Carol Jackson gave us a full report on the progress in Jones and Onslow Counties and ED Patti updated us about the Bowl for Kids Sake fundraising event. The date has been set for April 9th in Craven, Jones, and Carteret Counties.
Our next meeting will be Feb. 24th at 5:30 at Pollocksville Elementary School.
