Tag and I Am It!!

It would seem I have been tagged by Acacia Dixon and must tell five things that others don’t know about me. This is going to be hard, since bloggers are open books or should I say are openly “net connected” and hope that others read their blogs. Well, here goes with the “Five Things Meme”. Hmmmmm!!!

1. I always wanted to be an interior designer but opted to be a teacher instead. A much better choice I must say. (I can retire in 28 days. ) Probrably even better since I have no design style really and can’t draw worth a darn.

2. I have very few blogging friends from the USA. Most are from India and the one who taught me about blogging is Australian. That was 6 years ago. Now everyone has a blog. LOL Actually, I am happy to see the blogging fever beginning here in the east.

3. I WON a car. Yes, you heard me right! I won a VW Jetta in a raffle. As I walked by the car, I would say to it, “YOU are mine.” They pulled out the ticket and called my name. It was like “The Price is Right”.

4. I write poetry and have several children’s books already written and illustrated by an artist friend but have yet to have them published. I have refused to pay for it myself. Can anyone help???

5. MMMM…let me think about the 5th one. As I said before, my life is an open book. Ok, here goes. I love Jackie Chan and Jet Li movies. I think it has something to do with my connections to Asia and my love of martial arts. Go figure.
