Going to Myrtle Beach

Today I travel to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for my first official training for Rotary District Governor. It is exciting but a little daunting too. I hope I won’t find out that I am too far in over my head. This has been a busy time with getting the Group Study Exchange team ready for our trip to India in January, teaching writing at school half a day, going to the gym, working full time with Follett, and doing the usual house things.

I’ll be staying at a beach resort that faces the Atlantic Ocean. It sounds lovely and I can’t wait to get out of town for a while. The only problem is that I don’t know how much time I’m going to have to enjoy the facilities. I’ve promised myself that I’ll go to the gym there and definitely plan on getting at least one massage.
