I was looking through my pictures when Amit visited here last year and found this one. A sleepy Sunday morning on the streets of Chapel Hill. After all that time talking about showing him my favorite town in Chapel Hill and finally it did arrive. Dreams do come true don’t they??

Such a little treasure that walk was… I can still remember every bit of our holiday there. Chapel Hill is really cute, North Carolina is amazing… in hind sight I wish I had driven on the wrong side of the road when you did ask me for a trial run… someday soon I hope. 
I remember that observatory next to the huge sundial and the souvenirs you bought for me and D from there… and the Carolina Pride of course… USA was so much fun… so wanna go there again… I think D would love it and he’d love Chicago too.
Love the photo Nan, it captures a sunny wintery morning perfectly. I can’t wait to see Chapel Hill first hand….it looks just gorgeous and I’m sure it won’t disappoint. Amit speaks very fondly of his time there and your warm southern hospitality.
